What is a virtual race?
A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race.  You can run your race at your pace wherever you like.

 

Who is Will Run for Bling & Charity?
Will Run For Bling & Charity, Inc. is a virtual race company based in Atlanta, GA. We  host virtual runs to offer runners across the world an opportunity to run for some of the best BLING!

 

How does a virtual race work?

A virtual race can be done at any venue that you wish.  You can walk, jog, skip or run the distance of your choice. You can complete your race at the gym on a treadmill, a practice run in town, a stroll in the park, or another local racing event. Will Run for Bling believes in the honor system so no proof is required for your race, but it would be awesome if you could upload pictures and tell us about your experience on our Facebook page. All race participants will be emailed a race bib and will be mailed a finisher’s medal.

 

Why should I do a virtual race?

The short answer would be because they are cool. The more detailed top 4 reasons would include:

  1. The chance to add a really cool medal (also known as “Bling”) to your collection.
  2. Complete control over your schedule. Complete the race on your own time. No travel expenses, no hassle with parking and no long lines waiting at the potty.
  3. An opportunity to support a great cause. Each of our races will benefit a deserving charity that is making a difference.
  4. …and last but not least, because running is sexy. LOL!

 

Who can participate?

Everybody and anybody!  There is no age limit and there are no restrictions.  So run, jog, walk, crawl, run alone, run in a group, run with your pet, bike, hike,  it doesn’t matter. Just get out there and get moving!

 

Can I complete the race with a group? Do we get any discounts as a group?

Yes and Yes! If you have 10 or more runners interested in participating in one of our races, please contact us and we will arrange for a group discount for your entire group.

 

Do I have to complete the distance all at one time or can I break it up into different days?

No you are not required to run your distance all at one time. Feel free to break it up into several runs if you need to.

 

When will I receive my BLING?

All race bling will be mailed out within 30 days of completion of the race.

 

Do the medals come with a ribbon?

Yes! Every medal will come with a ribbon!

 

Can I Have a Tax Receipt?

Unfortunately, no. Funds from the races are submitted as one lump sum instead of separate individual donations. The amount donated each month will vary depending on how many have registered.

 

I don’t live in the United States, can I still participate?

What is Round 1 and Round 2? What is the difference? How can I tell which Round I am registered for?

Our medals are custom made high quality medals and often take 6 – 8 weeks to produce. We typically order the medals in advance so that they arrive to us close to the race date and we can ship them out to you. On limited occasions, a race is more popular than we expected and it will sell out.  Based on popular demand we may open up another Round of registrations typically called Round 2. The Round 2 runners will participate in the event during the same dates, but will agree to receive their medal during a later time frame due to the popular demand of the race.  We do not always open a Round 2 for every race, so it is best to register early to ensure that you will get your bling in a timely manner.

To determine if you are Round 1 or Round 2, always check your registration confirmation. If you are registered for Round 2, then your registration confirmation will state so. If you are still unsure, feel free to contact us and we will let you know.
