The run so nice, we had to do it three times!!!
Join in for a “groovy” good time with the second round of the Peace & Love Bug Run. A Virtual 5k, 10k & Half Marathon race to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Flip flops, tie dye shirts, bell bottom pants and big hair are completely optional. LOL!
This is a virtual race, so run/walk/crawl where ever you are whenever you can. You can even complete this race on the treadmill. No proof is required of completion, but feel free to post your photos to our Facebook page.
Each runner will receive a custom bib and 3″ finishers medal. Medals will be mailed out weekly. Bibs will be emailed out every Friday.
About the charity: Multiple sclerosis (MS) was first described by French neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot in 1868. After, more than 140 years of research, there is still no known cause, and as yet, no cure. However, there are treatments that can slow the progress of the disease and manage the symptoms, and new research is expanding our understanding of this unpredictable illness.
