What: The We Stand with Boston Virtual Run – A 5k/10k/Half Marathon (2014)
On April 15, 2013 there was a deadly attack on one of Boston’s signature sporting events, the Boston Marathon. It was a senseless and terrifying tragedy.
One year later, this virtual run will allow us to show our support for both the city of Boston and the victims of this terrorist attack. We want to join together and show the world that runners are some of the most resilient people ever. We Stand With Boston.
This is a virtual race, so run/walk/crawl where ever you are whenever you can. You can even complete this race on the treadmill.
Every runner will receive a 4″ custom 3D sculpted antique silver We Stand With Boston medal and ribbon. Medals will ship the week of May 5th.
